Who are we?

The Apostolic Getaway is made up of believers of apostolic faith based churches. Our members include people from the United Pentecostal Church, Apostolic Assembly, Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, independent Apostolic and Pentecostal Churches who all believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and hold fast to the message preached by Peter in Acts chapter 2.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38

We believe that we must be baptized in water in Jesus name, and filled with the Holy Ghost, and live a holy life as servants of the most high God, separated from the world. "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God" Romans 12:2

As it is written in Philippians chapter 2, "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:  That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;  And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord."  Jesus Christ is Lord.

The Apostolic Getaway is owned and created by apostolic believers for our friends and all of those who believe the same way we do.  Our members include preachers, Sunday School teachers, missionary kids, preachers kids, evangelists, singers, and musicians, as well as nurses, police officers, computer programmers, college students, school teachers, bankers, and others professions too numerous to list. Essentially, we are just like you.

Our goal here at The Apostolic Getaway is to provide a getaway , if you will, from the daily grind, and a place to receive encouragement when needed, a place to socialize with believers just like you, a gathering place to meet people worldwide, a place for ministry, fellowship, and fun in a safe, friendly, and above all Godly environment.
